Grand Get-Away

Did you miss out on Grandparent’s Camp? Did you get to go, realized it was awesome, and want to come back for more? Do you want a special time with your grandkids? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then Metigoshe Ministries has a great opportunity for you. we are going to provide a perfect time for grandchild/grandparent bonding.  Now you don’t have to wait for summer to have that special time. Our summer Grandparent Camp is such a huge success, with waiting lists every year, that we decided to have a special time for grandparents and grandchildren in the winter too. Come to Metigoshe this winter for a Grand Get-Away of fun, games and devotions with that special grandchild. We will direct the games and devotions and provide a cozy theme room and meals for you and your grandchild. Register early, as we are expecting this to fill quickly.  Please note: each room has two twin and one full bed; maximum capacity is five people.

Cost: $100 per Grandparent/Grandchild pair….$30 for each additional attendee

Hammering Out Faith with Dad

7:00 pm Friday, April 12, 2013 to 11:00 am Sunday, April 14, 2013

At this retreat, dads and kids will explore the outdoors and their faith together. Each child will return home with a Faith Chest® that s/he builds with dad. For those of you that attended either of the past 2 years, there is a new project–a “Family Altar”, complete with Bible storage, cross and baptismal candle holders. Dads and kids will also receive a book of faith-walk ideas. We need to have registrations by March 30 so the proper number of kits can be ready for each project. Please indicate the project you wish to do at this year’s retreat. This retreat is limited to dad and one child–you can bring your other children another year. This will be a special time to build a relationship with each child individually. This retreat is an important opportunity to grow in faith together with your kids–what better way could there be to spend a weekend? You will have overnight adventure in one of our unique theme rooms, and there will be laughter over delicious home-cooked meals.

Cost: $80 per father/child pair

Plus $50 for FaithChest® or Family Altar materials
($10 discount if registered on or before Friday, April 5)
